Your argument can be side-stepped by saying that we can take things from liberalism without taking everything from it. Whether you want to call that social liberalism, cultural liberalism, anti-capitalist liberalism, or some other name that doesn't have "liberal" in it doesn't actually matter.

Liberalism is more than an economic system. Removing it from historical context and reducing it to an economic system overlooks that it was historically primarily about individual freedom and political rights. Its economics grew out of its emphasis on liberty in opposition to aristocratic privilege.

Roman Christianity didn’t need to get patriarchy from Judaism. Pre-Christian Rome was extremely patriarchal. And yes, some of the cultures on the periphery of the empire had different gender norms… but there were many such cultures. And much migration. And North is a different direction from West.

I (and many others) have been very critical of these HGs for their behavior this season. And I stand by it bc racial bias is harmful. Harassing these people when they get out will not do any good, though. Hopefully, their family, friends, fellow castmates, etc. will hold them accountable. #BB28

#bb28 This season was ok. Preferred the two previous seasons more. The icons had a lot of privileges in this game, including being handed first HoH. It is no coincidence that the group that had the most privileges, got the most votes for powers, also had one player that got the most votes for AFP.

I think what's cool about this season is that many of the players are polarizing. It's great that they evoke strong feelings in both directions, that's way better than no feelings! It's a sign of interesting, complex players!

Think about it: Andy, Josh, Rachel, Taylor, Chelsie, Kat, myself etc etc etc all have lots of fans and lots of haters! On my season, all of the biggest characters (Dick, Dani, Jen, myself) were loved and hated.

I can't begin to explain how stupid this post is. Sure is funny how you Brits think y'all can police widespread and accepted English words used in the US. Anyway, there's not one Yorkshire accent, "y'all" is not a phonetic spelling of an accent, it's very natural to use here, and it's not "folksy".

#bb28 I've seen some people talk about how this is a bad move on Devens' part, but I don't really agree. Kamu needs to go up as much as possible. Skipping a week only increases his chances of staying, because he has less comps he would need to win. Putting him up against Haley is also great.
