Marlene is a Haitian immigrant, brought over as a toddler. America is the only home she has known. She was adopted by a neglectful family who never got her citizenship. In July 27th, alongside 350,000 other Haitians, she Lost her IPS status. Since then, she Legally cannot work. She is a queer woman living in Philadelphia.She & her 2 cats, Mango & Rajah have been struggling to make ends meet. Currently, she is fighting an eviction but she needs our help.
An eviction *could* get her deported to country she hasn't known since infancy.

my friend deserves to get the job of her dreams and have a nice home with her two cats. she doesn’t deserve the cruelty of this state.

In addition to all of that, the tuberculosis has caused Marlene to have major spinal problems, preventing her from being able to do a lot of jobs. Last Tuesday, she was unceremoniously fired following TPS getting overturned.
