A few notes: got comfortable with planning maps with intention-- everything is placed for a reason, so that it can be used later in the story. As an example, the dry dock will be an important set piece in Act 2, so it has ample space and is strategically placed. Also leaving room for extra content.

It’s an Area that chases the first Enemy object that it finds, unless you’re already targeting one. Then I have a projectile component for moving forward, and a homing component to orient the projectile. No changing targets though, don’t want it to overshadow other weapons.

For this one, I finally managed to do inverse kinematics for quadrupeds! That means the legs move independently of each other and adapt to changes in terrain elevation. Overall, pretty satisfied with how it's turning out even though it still needs more visual work.
