Been working on the final boss of character movement: ledge climb! It's surprisingly more work, since you need to balance animation, moving the player, and making it look good while not clipping the ledge. Also, gliding has an effect now! #gamedev #indiegame #megamanlegends #adamantheart

It's Godot, so it's an Environment node with the cube as a child. Then the node has logic to always be positioned on the player, and the sky is like 300m away on all directions. Also rotates to simulate clouds moving. Didn't use the built-in panorama because the image scaling was too finicky:
