Artists change is only going to happen if you try, making an account and just leaving after a few posts wont really do much. Dont leave all your eggs in one basket and spread yourself out. The new ai implementation on twitter is just straight up theft

If you’re in the Nottinghamshire(UK) area this month, maybe pop into Patchings Art Centre at Calverton for the A5 Exhibition - lots of lovely small artworks, including my trio of Sanderlings 🔽 More details here: www.patchingsartcentre.co.uk 🪶🐡 #art

yes this too—the price factor, especially if you’re used to USD commission prices in comparison to yen. i do add this disclaimer every time i talk abt cheaper prices, though

screenshot of a tweet from @draggedyanne:

“The real issue is that y’all aren't getting paid enough for your work either, which is why you can't afford to pay an artist what they're worth. Let's start there. Start pushing back against your jobs too cause realistically y'all SHOULD be able to afford a piece of art.”

— and you have to pay again via a new request for revisions… or find another artist instead, since you’re not supposed to contact them abt your commission at all it’s very much in favor of the artists’ discretion (which i assume is the main reason of popularity)

yeah i prefer being able to get revisions and do corrections, but i guess a lot of artists don’t want the hassle and would rather it be one-and-done 🥹 and also skeb’s policy allows artists to not always follow your instructions to a T, so they can mostly draw what they want —

yes, unfortunately skeb deducts out of your account right away 😭 but the artist doesn’t get paid until they post the commission. as for the price, you pay the suggested amount set by the artist ^^

oh dear. maybe put some ice or pain-soothing cream on it, if you can get any? ;;

what are the requirements? is it just the facial expressions or will you need to separate everything? maybe you could start by splitting the hair from the clothes → arms from the front of the dress → gaming controller from the hands? you might have to redraw the gaps left behind :(

I think Beach Therapy is vital today. 🌊 Love you. Mean it.
