My contribution for @closecallzine.bsky.social! Last chance to get a leftover copy of this beautiful otasune zine go go go 🏃‍♀️ #mgs #otasune #bdncrt

two different pictures of Snake and Otacon on vacation with Sunny, in the first Otacon is applying sunscreen to Sunny's nose while Snake is inflating a swim ring for her; in the second, Snake and Sunny are cheering on Otacon from the top of a boulder for him to finish climbing all the way up. A small side panel shows them in their beach attire, chibi style, with Otacon in pain as he's sunburnt while Snake deadpans, "should have put that sunscreen on yourself as well, huh"

My piece for @closecallzine.bsky.social ! Metal Gear Solid 2 is a foundational game for me & I wanted to do something that captured little pieces of how it makes me feel... otasune forever

A greenish array of windows layered over one another, depicting various symbols and scenes from metal gear solid 2

- Two figures recline against a city landscape
- The aurora arches over the Alaskan landscape
- A small boat crosses the hudson river, Metal Gear Ray lurking below
- A snake wraps itself around a hand holding a pair of glasses
- The big shell is depicted in bright orange
- Otacon laces up the back of Snake's sneaking suit
- Otacon and Pliskin hold each other
- a WINAMP player lists various pieces of music from the 90s and 2000s
- Do you Believe Love Can Bloom, Even on the Battlefield?
