Breaking in the new sketchbook! Using @trueref.bsky.social pose as inspiration and then adding some color to see how this paper handles. Not sure about it yet, but I love being able to work in highlights!

First time doing a risograph print, now maybe even more obsessed with riso. Cornflower and florescent magenta are the two colors used!

Playing around with Jesmonite resin to varying degrees of success. It is certainly a learning process! It's so different from traditional resin. Overall I think I work too small for it.

Some concept doodling of trans angelic figures. They would be pen and ink, surrounded but wood cut gothic filigree.

Doing a style test. I'm shaky today and haven't used a nib to ink in forever, but it felt nice. Also my masking fluid is old and I can't find my white pen... but I learned things!

Saw a vintage piece made out of silver and ivory of a sardines can. Decided to make my own laser cut version! This is the test fit, and looking damn good!

Layered laser cut wood that resembles a partially opened tin of sardines. There are two layers of fish inside.

Had this dream with these symbiote mechs that fought bad symbiote aliens in space. Doodled the basic shapes after I woke & now I started refining the first one. She's based on porcelain dolls, Chinese porcelain, & Chinese lanterns. I think that her hands form into long spikes/weapons as needed.
