My first 486 DX2 66 was super hot. Mostly because I was a kid and didn't know you needed spacers to stop the motherboard touching the case and shorting out and it caused the CPU pins to melt the socket.

Yes. Surprisingly good performance considering it was from AliExpress. I half expected it to be USB 2.0 with a USB-C socket.

Finding the right cable can be tricky. I’ve tried a couple of models and they only work well with USB C cables that have quite small plugs. I had better results cutting open and hollowing out a real connector though it was a lot of work.
