Check if your #ClipStudioPaint version have this shortcut option (I'm not sure when it was added) - it's super helpful and I was sleeping not using it. ps.: still think CSP needs a quickier method to setup shortcuts - SAI had the best approach.

If you download the animation template but disliked the colors: - Hold CTRL and click on a folder to open all and reveal all layers inside it; - Select everything; - Change the layer/folder color choosing 'No pallete color' in the dropdown menu (ps.: colors are from Softimage XSI - love that UI)

Teach yourself some Blender this weekend. Maybe give yourself a challenge like: just learn enough so you build stuff using cubes only? In #ClipStudioPaint you just drag 'n drop your 3D file from Blender to the canvas and the object is ready to be used as a reference.

How to check greyscale values in realtime in #ClipStudiopaint using a modifier color profile //while is simpler to just slap a White/Black filled layer on top of everything (with blending mode set to Color) - I just tested and this workaround still works: ko-fi.com/post/ValueGr...

On the topic of 'Color Selectors' in #ClipStudioPaint and to add to a previous tip: You can also use the mouse wheel on the Color Wheel and, specially, in Color Slider to increase/decrease values. 🤯

For a real tip... You can set a keyboard shortcut to popup the 'Color Settings' instead. This one still have a square indicator (plus more options). Only 'downside' is that you need to press Enter or hit OK to close the panel. #clipstudiopaint

You can doesn't mean you should 😆 But in #ClipStudioPaint it´s possible to save colors in the Command Bar (!?) You can create different categories: warms, cools, greys, harmonies.. Right-Click on the Command Bar, select Add Drawing Color and drag them over each other to create a drop-down group.

Quick test on IPad version 3.15, 2X speed - Area Scaling set to 9 so it bleeds very deep under the lines. It’s important to use a large brush though. #ClipStudioPaint

You can use the Transform tool handles to preview the placement of shapes in the desired perspective. Holding the [ Spacebar] key hides the handles for a clear preview. #ClipStudioPaint

Hold the *Shift* key (or Mac equivalent) right after open #ClipStudioPaint , to initialize (reset) various options of the program like Brushes, Preferences, Shortcuts... The option [ Canvas Recovery Information ] deletes the backup files that, sometimes, eats up a lot of space on your disk.

For past #ClipStudioPaint versions a quick method to test different camera angles when posing 3D mannequins is to just duplicate🎥🎥 the layer ... In later versions you now have an option to duplicate the camera in the object list. // Thanks for follow my art @dadotronic.com 😉 ✌️
