Part 2 of our Infectiousness and Transmission series🧪 The LCASS captures airborne TB bacteria in a liquid, allowing us to perform a range of laboratory tests. Together with the ACI, which separates particles by size, these tools help us better understand how TB spreads through the air.

Kicking off CAD LUS4TB-a new Africa–Europe collaboration using AI and portable ultrasound to improve TB diagnosis. The project will evaluate an AI algorithm that reads handheld ultrasound images via smartphone, supporting rapid TB rule-out in primary care in Benin, Mali and South Africa!
