It's not ideally suited to LES, but it has the general pattern. Here is 1991-2020 normal snowfall. Scale is set as percentiles for New York state.

First, I would say to focus on the 99% that is not blue. That said, in low snowfall areas, a small number of outliers can really wreak havoc on trends.

The Colorado River basin's 2025-26 water year (October-September) was the warmest on record. It was also the least snowy on record. Only 16.8% of the (below average) precipitation fell as snow - shattering the previous record low.
