![[Top Section] Kami wo Kure; Region: Japan
[Middle Section] A public toilet with both seats up, a large, pale green arm stretches out, prepared to grasp what's in front of it. Accompanied by descriptive text.
A public restroom-based urban legend. A voice from a closed stall calls out "Kami wo kure..."; thinking the voice wants kami (paper), someone may toss them some, however...
The voice continues to repeat its request as the passerby tries supplying more toilet paper. If one should check by knocking they will be met by silence, and the door will be found to be open. The stall is empty.
The voice reveals that it is asking for kami (hair), not kami (paper), and an arm reaches out to drag in the victim by the hair.

The Emperor shouted; his servant declared that the creature was an ink-fairy and it disappeared. Perhaps the Choku-boron I saw in my dream are similar sorts.” - [Translation: Japandemonium 2017]](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:2qhnojh2joagxxpcyedopa7u/bafkreiedjmhwhdl5uoy3klmy7lkdj2oxocxmnz7mezhqppqbpusmmccimi)
![[Top Section] Storsjöodjuret; Alternate Names: Great Lake Monster, Storsie; Region: Storsjön, Jämtland, Sweden
[Middle Section] A black serpentine creature with pale yellow eyes preparing to bite its own tail. Accompanied by descriptive text.
A Swedish lake monster whose legend began in the early 17th century. It was long enough to wrap around Frösön and bite its tail.
Supposedly it is restrained due to the legendary Kettil Runske's carving of a runic spell upon the Frösöstenen.
A version of the legend says the creature was brewed in a cauldron by two trolls, a serpentine creature with a cat-like head.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:tsfvgiiehbannefovmdxxk5s/bafkreihojflrhabq2qvqaipxr55i5cd6rlxfztmgcq2fdngqdh5dnyixla)
