Oh, well based on my hours of obsessive research now, I’ve learned that the M1 iMac and Mac mini don’t have the pro or max chip you can get in the MacBook Pro or Mac Studio, which is a shame, since I’d love to get another iMac like I have enjoyed. Then, with Chrome, it’s a problem no matter what.

Yeah, I guess I’m mostly having a hard time letting go of my Mac comfort zone, which would be fine if I didn’t also have PC gamer friends that I want to be able to join.

As an added element, my friend/roommate would be down to split and share a gaming laptop as needed. So my thought was to go McBoob Pro for my daily use, however, all my desktop PC friends keep telling me that’s a dumb-dumb decision, and are trying to lure me to their side. 😩

Calling the Council of Creators! My 09 IMac has served me well but it’s time to upgrade. I like my 🍎 ecosystem, but in addition to more art stuff/streaming, I’d also like some gaming. So, am I better off doing a Mac & PC laptop for each, or do I need to just go full PC desktop? 🖥️🪽

I try to give grace to casual AI users playing around with it for their own personal use and enjoyment. However, some kinds of restrictions need to be put into place to keep the abuse of the technology under control.

Even those who have ripped off other artists in their own work in the past were limited by a certain level of technical proficiency and time it takes to produce the work. However, now anyone can output dozens of unethical images from artist work without a second thought.

Yeah, I’ve seen the argument that it’s no different than human artists that steal from each other all the time. However, all the years of absorbing aspects of our favorite inspirations and developing our own skill and voice is nothing like the cavalier act of claiming someone else’s work fed into AI

If you are in the art or tarot spaces you need to be aware of what's happening to Baba Studios (creators of the Victorian Romantic and Bohemian Gothic decks). They've had an entire deck of theirs stolen, run through AI art apps, and it's now currently on Kickstarter seeking funding.
