Gonna toot my own horn here in saying that the shrew monk prints wonderfully; at small scale it prints without any supports; when scaled up some light supports are needed but remove so cleanly. www.thingiverse.com/thing:7411132

More and more refining and detailing; at this point I was out of ideas and started adding the suggestion of organic features back into the model around the undercarriage. Nearly finished at this point, and I'm quite pleased! This was a challenge compared to my usual work, and I learned a lot!

Blocked it out in a hurry, then slept on it. At this point I weighed whether to go full organic and greebly to match the chaotic energy of the ink drawing, or take it another direction. Decided to lean into the robotic aspect, inventing what I needed while keeping the silhouette.

I've read that as a common option for CTS, and have always felt maligned towards trackballs but I might have to give it a shot. I'm going to try an ergo wrist support first, and if that doesn't help I'll have to try the trackball. Appreciate the input!

My own ongoing health issues have made getting back to work difficult, and now carpal tunnel has been flaring up throughout my right arm in a pretty severe way. I'm frustrated, to put it mildly, but optimistic that things can get better. Be excellent to each other, and try your best every day! 🐭💖

He was the heart and center of our household, and had been here since I moved to LA. Of all the pets I've had throughout my life, there hasn't been one that was more sweet, considerate, and intelligent as he was. It was less like having a pet and more like a friend who was always there. ->
