New Sirwan Regional Project publication, where we show that beveled rim bowls and wide flower pots at Late Chalcolithic Shakhi Kora were used to serve similar dishes containing meat, aquatic protein and plant products flavoured with pine resin. Bon appétit! www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...

Our paper on Late Chalcolithic Shakhi Kora was just published. A rather amazing site with an intriguing occupation history that suggests the development of local institutional households, an Uruk one, and then the rejection of this type of centralised organisation/power. doi.org/10.15184/aqy...
