My 2 month long offline journey of Pictlogica Final Fantasy came to a (streamed) end last Thursday - it was a fun 165 hours of picross & picross-based combat quests. This week we begin Aria October for real with a Luigi's Mansion playthrough, Aria itself, and the weekly FFT run. #pastebinmonday

Proof of all achievables in Pictlogica Final Fantasy for the Nintendo 3DS, in a short 165.5 hours of gameplay.

Final Fantasy Adventure was alright - was cool to see where the Mana series began, but it definitely had a lot of repetitive combat & uninspired dungeons. This week we'll play another Shantae game (it'll be great...), then more FFT routing + Aria of Sorrow prac #pastebinmonday #ClaudeGameReviews

Final Fantasy Legend II was fantastic - Akitoshi Kawazu really was a cut above the rest back in the day. Still feelin' Game Boy, so we'll do a Final Fantasy Adventure 1st play this week + other stuff, and then hopefully a no reset run of FFT Classic Mode No Math Skill on Friday #pastebinmonday

The ending of Akitoshi Kawazu's Final Fantasy Legend II, a fantastic game that holds up great even to this day.

PSX week was kind of a blowup between Croc 2 & Legacy of War being so bad, but at least The Contra Adventure was funny. This week will be Final Fantasy Legend II 1st play for SaGa September. FFT route is also coming along - but what was this Undead Archer cooking? #pastebinmonday #ClaudeGameReviews

Finished Light Crusader last week (among other Genesis games) - was pretty good! Great mix of puzzles & action combat, especially by Treasure's standards. This week will be all PSX casuals - oh, and I finished the 1st draft of my FFT route. Runs Sep 22nd, maybe? #pastebinmonday #ClaudeGameReviews

Finished Pizza Tower with the big 101%, doing all chef tasks and every last P-Rank. Was a lot of fun - it definitely felt like routing a speedrun at times with the way rank worked. September will just be random games until my FFT Classic No Math Skill route is done #pastebinmonday #ClaudeGameReviews

101% in Pizza Tower for the personal computer. It's also John approved - WOW!

Finished Marisa & Alice last week - really enjoyed the game! Although the final world was challenging, it was still well within reason. I started Pizza Tower after, and will be playing more of that all this week. Goal is to become nice and get all the P-Ranks. #ClaudeGameReviews #pastebinmonday

Mario & Wario was a pretty cool puzzler - pre-Pokemon Game Freak continues to deliver. Marisa & Alice is very difficult (as expected), so more of that this week. I've also been working on an FFT Remaster Classic Mode No Math Skill route - runs in September, I hope? #pastebinmonday #ClaudeGameReviews

My scorecard for the main game of Mario & Wario for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. I did Princess-only, of course.

I was a super player in Mario & Wario! Those extra stages sure were tough...

070

Claude @claudefft.bsky.social · 10/08/2026

Pikmin 2 had too many caves, the extra levels in Umihara Kawase Shun were too hard, Contra: Hard Corps was fun, and I already forgot everything about Portal Runner GBC. This week we'll be playing two hot puzzlers - expect big mouse gaming and many perilous trials. #ClaudeGameReviews #pastebinmonday

Weak characters compared to the original trilogy, none of the cases were particularly memorable, didn't like the bracelet, didn't like what they did with Phoenix's character, weak finale... many reasons. Haven't even bothered watching it when other people stream the game because it's so boring.

010

Claude @claudefft.bsky.social · 03/08/2026

And with that, after over 20 years, I have now played every main Ace Attorney game. Here's my tier list (ordered within tiers). Feeling pretty confident about it (because I know Dreamboum isn't on here to yell at me). Of course, there's always fangames... (Touhou Attorney, anyone?) #pastebinmonday

An objectively correct Ace Attorney games tier list.

Finished my secret offline playthrough of Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright. Unfortunately, I didn't like it - felt like a dumbed down version of both series in an attempt to cater to everyone. Was just easy Layton puzzles combined with mediocre Ace Attorney storytelling - pass. #ClaudeGameReviews

5000 picarats is the max score in this game, didn't savescum too much tbh. Also never used a single hint coin.

I did all the DLC too. Big shoutouts to the guide I followed to make it work in 2026.

Tree of Tranquility is DONE - pretty cool game, ranked it 5th best out of the 13 Harvest games played thus far. On Tuesday, there will be a funny FFT x FF6 romhack race with @thelcc.bsky.social, then either another casual or speedrun stuff for the rest of the week #pastebinmonday #ClaudeGameReviews

#VideoGameSunsets in Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility, my 5th favorite Story of Seasons game played thus far.

Sure, everyone's played Final Fantasy 6 - but have you played it in Final Fantasy Tactics form?!

Tree of Tranquility has been pretty swell so far - a good thing too, considering the last Harvest Moon game I played (Island of Happiness) was terrible. Pictured is a turtle I hope to one day befriend. Will play more (and possibly finish the game?) this week. #pastebinmonday

Finally hit my goal in Sword Master (was retimed to a 5:39.8). Opted to dial back strats a bit in favor of getting luckier. Banjo Xbox was neat, Billy Hatcher was jank but fun. March of the Minis is a game that had a lot of potential, but some of the most boring level design I've ever seen - do not recommend. This week will be even more Sword Master (PB soon...), as well as my first ever Xbox stream with a Banjo-Kazooie not-first play #ClaudeGameReviews #pastebinmonday

Legacy of the Wizard was a pretty fun time (outside of bosses being dumb). JuNES may be coming to a close, but the Sword Master grind will continue for the 2.1 second PB. For casual, this week will feature some cool puzzlers - the Prin Prin puzzle hack, and then marching my minis. #pastebinmonday

The ending of "Batsu & Terry" for the NES, a game I completed last week that is completely unrelated to anything I mentioned in this post.

JuNES has been a lot of fun so far. I'm still grinding out Sword Master speedruns (strats get better every sesh), and I've played a lot of cool random NES games. After runs this week, we'll be hanging out with this funny family - I'm sure it'll be an easy and straightforward time. #pastebinmonday

Finished the Breath of Fire III, wrote some quick thoughts on it here: pastebin.com/MfxN9ZBF Truly, it was the sequel to BoF2. This week we'll do Prin Prin NES Any% + some type of casual game, and then on Friday we'll do the yearly FFT Randomizer - oh BOY! #pastebinmonday #ClaudeGameReviews

Breath of Fire 3 definitely got a lot better once I hit adulthood. Should finish it up this week, then it'll be back to speedruns / shorter casual games (got some good playthroughs in mind). Got all treasures in Master of Disguise - sadly, it wasn't very fun. Obnoxious touchscreen controls, a poorly designed hundo, and blowing into the mic to fly was cursed. At least we got Mask de Wario? Mostly speedruns this week, with an epik 1-day casual on Friday. #ClaudeGameReviews #pastebinmonday

Nah, I didn't really mind much. When doing hundo, you're also forced into a bonus game each time to win extra lives (not a super meaningful reward), but it wasn't really a big deal. Prob one of those things you'd only notice in a race setting.
