He’ll have to take the fairing off, we can jack it up under the engine and check for any headstock play and disc runout at the same time. The judder was worse at speed. Likely a warped disc,until we can raise the front to check the runout can’t confirm for sure. Fun ride though, never had a proper sports bike apart from an ancient FJ1200. #motosky 2362

Greg Gilbert @clatterbox.bsky.social · 27/08/2026Tired of bring cooked by all the engine heat the fairing traps on the K100 it’s time for the yearly removal. Pros : Lose 18.6 kg of weight over the front making low speed handling much nicer. More room in the garage, the bike is so wide with that fairing fitted and the mirrors are non folding. 100

So I thought I’d try a Continental trail attack 3. A nice easy fit and should last longer than the previous Avon Roadrider that was worn out in less than 4k miles. #motosky 281
