This is fun. If the lockout (you know it's coming) goes on too long, the Media Rights automatically roll over into 2027, and there's another year on the old revenue numbers. How much will that mean on the downside, and is it still less than the increase in franchise value from a fixed salary cost?

When you're on a run to win the National League pennant, sometimes you need to make a big signing. The Cubs did that in 1945, grabbing Hank Borowy from the Yankees. In our latest AM radio recreation, Borowy is making his first start and faces Vern Kennedy of the Reds in this game from July 29 1945.
