I was a first-timer at the very lovely super-friendly Plymvalley #Parkrun today - not the fastest route but I was pleased I managed to run all the way up the hill on the 2nd lap (if not the 1st) and that I didn’t trip on the downhills. Thanks to all the volunteers!

Also, yesterday was a double-dip day - huge beautiful chill Parliament Hill Fields Lido followed by the, errr, slightly greenish Hampstead Heath Mixed Ponds (Kenwood Ladies Ponds closed for blue-green algae). Frida Kahlo at Tate first & Horsegirl in Islington later, so all in all a bit tired now.

Beccles Lido yesterday and then, err Lowestoft #Parkrun today as Beccles was off. Lovely pool and lovely friendly Parkrun where i accidentally completed the compass challenge as “west” is in the middle of Lowestoft. And now home again with the cat.

Kicked the day off at the lovely Mount Wise Pools in Plymouth - the lesser known of the city’s two lidos. And very lovely it was too. What with Salcombe yesterday, I’ve now been to all the (currently open) South Devon lidos - which has only taken me about 5 years!
