iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

At @waterloorecords.bsky.social with my 18 year old browsing... I told them, "they have Digital Underground!" 18yo - never heard of them... Took me this long to realize I have failed as a parent.

fixed a bug where all notes showed today's date instead of their actual timestamp. sync was silently overwriting the dates on every pull. #buildinpublic #clareifi

Been back in Austin for a little under a month now and today was the first day that the humidity made it feel like I was going to need to grow gills to breathe outside. Electric bill is going to be trash! Happy to be back though, my spirit is healing.

Clareifi Notes Phase 2 shipped 🔐 Multi-device sync. Zero-knowledge confirmed. Honest build-in-public moment: this phase was brutal. Silent sync failures, session persistence bugs, stale keys silently breaking decryption across browsers. No server-side visibility to debug — that's the point, but...

Something shifted in how I use my notes app. Not the app. Me. I started self-editing. Leaving things out. Wondering who, eventually, might read this. It was subtle at first. Then I noticed I was doing it all the time. That's not a healthy way to think. So I started looking for a better answer.
