So this post is making the round and baffling more than a few people. Myself included. It finally made sense when someone else referenced the Antiterrorism and Effective Death Penalty Act of 1996. This act limited the scope of options for the federal judiciary to override state decisions

One more thing about the death penalty before going offline. As disgusted as we should be by Trump's bloodlust, we should NOT lose sight of the CENTRAL role of Democrats in upholding, expanding, and enabling this system that seems to horrify so many people right now. It really cannot be said enough.

Okay so State of the Higgins. We had a vet visit this week. He’s done with his treatment for toxoplasmosis. He did see improvement on antibiotics, but didn’t have a full recovery. So there may have been toxo and a thing Vet thinks there’s an underlying neuro issue that may get worse. 1/
