Why did CM and its partners intervene in support of the Sudanese plaintiffs in the BNP Paribas appeal? BNP Paribas is appealing a U.S. verdict based on Swiss law. The Swiss Government argues that the conduct at issue was lawful under civil, banking and sanctions law.
