I've put this off long enough. Because one post on machine translation and the devaluation of human labor wasn't enough, I wrote even more words about it than before (2900, to be precise), this time from one former fan translator to another. Or at least, some of you out there.

I wonder how the guy being described in "The Three B's - Bethesda, Bioware and Blizzard" feels about the past 15 years of their games

hopefully it goes lower in price like air riders a prime 4 did… I might pick up a copy if it hits 60… gaaaaaahhhhhh

god that new FE looks really good I’m in pain I need it but I don’t have a switch 2 + 80 dollars fuuuuuuck

Brooklyn! @cinnamonlyn.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

that was like really really great it might be my favorite classic entry but i still need to replay 8

030

Brooklyn! @cinnamonlyn.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

the physicality of play and its appeal is really hard to define in words, especially in a succinct manner, but there is something about games feel that really is so satisfying to master,, i hope the trainings in NB are actually making me a better pilot cause thats what it certainly feels like ^_^

040

Brooklyn! @cinnamonlyn.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

there really is nothing else like it, ive been thinking about it a lot tonight but like, i like a lot of other games a ton more than most of the AC series but something about the gameplay and systems makes AC always comfy to replay and get better at, its endless depth does lend to that i suppose :D

150

Brooklyn! @cinnamonlyn.bsky.social · 10/09/2026

playing ninebreaker tough as shit trainings for like 2 hours straight and it reminds me why i love these games so much, god these games are so cool :D

Brooklyn! @cinnamonlyn.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Seeing more saga is jus a constant reminder that I really need to finish saga frontier, I only ever beat reds campaign lol

010

Brooklyn! @cinnamonlyn.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Mythra kid is real, metal slug prototype, more saga stuff direct was the definition of okay was not worth the 45 minutes but it wasn’t bereft of worth

110

Brooklyn! @cinnamonlyn.bsky.social · 09/09/2026

Metroid ravenous looks so fucking sick

140

Brooklyn! @cinnamonlyn.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

it’s so fucking crazy that they felt so inclined to make these note systems and these quest systems for a game that was originally designed for literal children

030

Brooklyn! @cinnamonlyn.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

this remake is for all of those zelda fans who were racist and homophobic towards wind waker in the early 2000s

230

Brooklyn! @cinnamonlyn.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

music is pretty good all things considered and it’s still better than a lot of games on the same system it’s just not what it could have been

020

Brooklyn! @cinnamonlyn.bsky.social · 08/09/2026

i can’t help but feel underwhelmed, a lot of its new features are cool but the level design is just kind of rough, the doc robots are actually so bad it’s kind of absurd,, also the game is buggy and has a lot of slowdown which is just unfortunate

120

Brooklyn! @cinnamonlyn.bsky.social · 07/09/2026

oh yeah i beat megaman 2 last night, it owns! i have a lot more appreciation for it now that ive experienced it as a sequel,, i probably like it more than 3 but we will see about that soon enough
