"these researchers published a paper on something that literally any of us could have told you 🙄" ok well my supervisors wont let me write something in my thesis unless I can back it up with a citation so maybe it's a good thing that they're amplifying your voice to the scientific community in a way that prevents people from writing off your experiences as annecdotal evidence
they did the research in the first place because they believed you and wanted to tell people about it. they are not our enemies.

they did listen, that's how studies work, they asked people about their experiences and put all the data together in a nice package that can be cited

hard to provide objective evidence around clarity of creative direction, but i’m not sure i agree that love live is struggling in popularity. at least in terms of live events, largest venues bandori manages to play are the regular monthly venues for love live.

even if i can’t participate anymore due to my injury (from tiering….) there’s a sort of camaraderie formed from chasing a goal as 5 as hard as you possibly can. you’re all relying on each other, you’re all sweating together. it’s like a band!

i’ll miss tiering though. at the higher levels, tiering is typically done in a pre-arranged group of 5-8. you spend a year planning together.

tiering is hard on your body! i mean, i gave myself carpal tunnel 😅 but i do ultimately believe that was my fault. i should’ve listened to my body, i should’ve taken breaks, instead i doubled down.

yes, there are people who multisparked for tiering, but they were really the minority. i saw far more love sparks on twt than i ever saw sparks for pure competitive reasons.

compare that to a single inefficient cash spark, which is juuust under $700 USD. that’s per person. a few sparks make garupa more than the whole competitive roster. gacha is a way better money maker.

necessarily there is only one or two people spending at t1 levels. everyone else is spending at a much cheaper t10 rate, and below t10 there’s not really any reason to spend money tiering. totally achievable f2p, even without long term planning.
