What I would want to see from the Direct today - Raidou 2 - FE 6+7 remake/remaster - Digital Devil Saga remaster - Romancing SaGa 3 remake (I did see a trademark approved in...Brazil??) - Literally anything Dept. Heaven. English release for Blaze Union/Gloria Union? Gungnir? - EO 4/5/X collection.

Caught the Magic Knight Rayearth premiere! I was excited as soon as the initial announcement hit, but also a little nervous about any remake. Now? I'm completley stoked, 10/10. More thoughts below.... 🧵 1/8

I would ask "what was very past me thinking?", because this thing is clearly a disaster. But I know the answer is, "I fished less than a yard of red denim out of the 'free, we just want this stuff gone' bin at a random NYC fabric store in 2008, and even if I could afford more, I'd never find it..."

I am quite pleased to announce that I'm representing otome games in July's Obscure Fandoms issue of @cosplaygladezine.bsky.social with Jack Jeanne and Olympia Soiree! Once it's up tomorrow, you can pick it up at www.blurb.com/user/CosGlade! #cosplay #jackjeanne #olympiasoiree

Playing through Yggdra Union recently (the Switch remake is real good and you should play it), and we got to talking about this character - Nietzsche. (Who is *nothing* like the human Nietzsche, thankfully). The writers and localization team absolutely 100% hit it out of the park with her.

Guys, dont immediately jump ship. Complain on Discords forums. Spam their emails. Make noise. We'll never tackle the overlying problem if we just keep jumping ship. Discord is easy to bully out of doing shit. We've made them stop doing NFT shit. We can stop them taking ID's. :)

I just want y'all to know that if the weather suddenly turns freezing for magfest it is entirely my fault for saying "Since I won't need my boots for MAGFest..." out loud. Heard Murphy laughing, saw the monkey's paw twitch, and yes, that is a shoe dropping thank you very much.

Got the lining sewn on, all the seams serged, and the zipper installed. Next up is the bips near the hem of the skirt and some other decorations, at which point what the cosolay is should be clear :) (Probably press the hem and install the waistband at the same time because why not?)

So this guy was pretty much wrong about everything.

Argath aka Algus yells "Animals have no God!!" like a jerk. The original translation of Final Fantasy Tactics is notoriously rough, but I always liked how blunt this line was.

Started on a new cosplay this weekend. Progress thus far: outer layer, liner, and mockup on one piece, mockup of a second (hence the scribbled note to give myself another 3" or so on the final)

I should put this in my bio, but as a reminder: I block MAGA trolls, but I also block for leftist sanctimony. Today's example is "why do you write about X, when I want you to write about Y, which I have deemed more important?" You are always free to write what you want to see in the world, folks!

the reason turn-based games, management sims, etc. will always have a place in the gaming world is because there is a surprisingly common type of player who will go all in on ultra sicko optimization shit as long as they can think about every decision for as long as they want
