I would argue that the golden age of search has passed. Earlier search engines made the user refine and make very specific word choices. Currently Google dumps your search into AI and gives random answers that bring you no closer to your object. This does engender an exciting level of rage though.

What enrages me is that those old birds have nothing to lose by having a sudden moral awakening. They’ve crimed and received bribes and inducements enough to retire with dignity and the appearance of morals while still being rich as Croesus. They have 0 to lose & we lose everything.
