The Finds SIG is taking a summer holiday! ☀️🏖️ After the excitement of Finds Fest, the committee have decided to take a few months to regroup. We’ll be back in September, planning our online AGM for November/ December and moving forward on outcomes from Finds Fest.

She worked for various commercial units before joining Historic England in 2020. In her current role, Rachel undertakes research and manages post-excavation projects. 🌟 Next up in our introductions is our Communications Officer, Gulfareen Kamran. Gulfareen completed her MA in 2022 from Newcastle University. Her MA thesis involved fabric and pXRF analysis of three primarily medieval assemblages from Upper Coquetdale, Northumberland. 1/2
