Have you tried blending peas? I love beans but dislike the...interruption? of peas. Think I could be a mushy pea person but usually I just avoid them, but blending sounds intriguing

I used to hate them. Then, when I was 20, I was served them on a plate under a small pile of sugar. This was a family style lunch for middle schoolers in the middle of China where I was teaching, and that's what got me to like them. I'd say about 1/2 a cup of sugar per sliced tomato.

There are endless studies showing this and also the financial and societal benefits of universal basic income and or housing-first policies but the U.S. never goes for any of it because it would require allowing the poor to receive benefits that the rich consider “undeserved”

Do I like Texas more than I did 5 years ago? …possibly. Beto and Talerico have really helped. Learned too much about Dallas politics/Chad West and his ilk so I do like my city less, plus they’re not funding the library.

I just really appreciate that you’re so aware of this. I also have ADHD/ASD but my strategy has been to quietly observe until I decide whether or not someone(s) are safe enough to try to build a relationship. Also ace, so not missing out on flirting, just wish I had more people to depend on.

6 months to purchase! I thought I had a lot of issues with it taking 5 weeks in Texas. Sure would be frustrating to be outbid at the last minute, though having sellers walk away like you’ve had would also be enraging

When I taught in China I was told IVs were always the first option at clinics. Students in our very rural province would pop in and get one and keep studying in their chairs. A box of pills that cured my giardia cost $1 so I assume the IVs were similarly affordable (a student lunch was about $.50).

Same - I made the switch over 6 months and am very glad I did. It was a lot of work in the beginning, but with all the crap that’s come down since then it was worth it. My Gmail still exists for when I need to find old stuff, but I did move everything over to proton.
