I looked that up, but i never heard of anyone using rod as a measurement. Unless there's some weird regional area of the states that still uses it. Very bizarre choice, if true.

Does this sign in the SH2 remake say 9 ROD FROM HERE? What does that even mean? I hope I'm not missing something obvious.

oh nice! I saw this when it was in theaters here earlier this year or late last year. It was my first time seeing it and it was great.

Happy trans day of visibility! Necrosoft's core team includes trans folks and enbies - it's not something we make a big deal of because it's not a big deal. They're just people who are good at their jobs! But given the state of everything we want to let other devs know: You can hire trans folks too!

Thanks so much! I made all of this with the a eurorack module called the Benjolin, as the centerpiece. it's a slightly simplified version of Rob Hordijk's blippoo box, if I'm not mistaken. Great pieces of gear that you can make random noises and small sequences with.

I just released a new album call Legacy Contaminants, right on time for bandcamp friday. It's inspired by the huge industrial spill that happened in my hometown about 20 years ago. cicadasirens.bandcamp.com/album/legacy...

RIP Eliane Radigue. She's been a huge influence on my work. Her music also opened me up to a lot of other electronic experimental music from the 60s and 70s. Aside from obvious Silent Hill/John Carpenter influences, that era of music has been a huge part of my identify as Cicada Sirens.

Cicada Sirens is an artist whose recommendations I solidly trust to be interesting. I picked up (d) / glitched's PRESET and listened to it for the entire day. Disrupted is my favourite track. Go check it out! glitched.bandcamp.com/album/preset

Really cool album. Lots of cool sound design that makes it feel like the ost to some kind of PS3 sci-fi survival horror game

I wrote Harsh Wires to help process my feelings about the ongoing Palestenian genocide, as well as America's rising authoritarianism. Currently, I'm saving money to move out of the US. So any money bandcamp, helps me get there. cicadasirens.bandcamp.com/album/harsh-...

Most hardware samplers are too complicated for me. I like them but I always get so confused.

www.youtube.com/watch?v=4NAQ... found it. He's got another video showing how he does this but this video is just sampling feedback. Anyway, it's a cool sound.
