For now, worth using old.Reddit.com … at least while it works. Bonus that it’s much lighter an cleaner tok. You can also make your browser auto redirect all Reddit links there easily enough (either w a dedicated extension or w StopTheMadness, which also syncs the redirect across devices)

Newman displays are great for large / complex stuff in particular newman-displays.com Kopykat.co.uk for more straightforward things also v good in my experience. Not right by BL but not too far and both deliver. Otherwise I’d be relying on google reviews..

100% a premium in education on anything “innovative” that sounds good in a panel discussion. And far less on the training, infrastructure, process that is needed for a policy to be effective, sustainable etc.

We worked on this! obvs not keen on any school closures - but had to recognise scale of crisis. Mass deaths: also not good for kids, both personally & re services they rely on (incl schools)! Real debate imho is less thresholds, more what we *prioritise* within whatever is open. Schools or bars?

Yeah also - I think we’ll see plenty of blaming out of touch Westminster/whitehall for constraints that mean it’s impossible to be “well run”. Arguably will resonate even more than “blaming Brussels” given how much central govt funds to councils have been cut.
