One day I’ll realize that batch painting just isn’t for me. What do you mean I painted for 3 hours and all I got done was 4 bolters and some trim. Batch painting just isn’t compatible with the standard I’m painting, but they’re almost done.

Got most the colors blocked in and it’s coming along nicely. Iye not relevant to this one but I’m not sure how I want the helmets for the fast attack models specifically. Traditionally for BAs it’s yellow but yellow sucks. I am doing blue for heavy support but closer to turquoise

I’ve decided to incorporate some boob armor but most won’t be. Obviously as resources dwindle the daughters of the angel(tm) have to rely on older more antiquated armor mks to maintain their position. The real downside to these 3d printed torsos is the helmetsi want don’t look amazing on them

I’m messing around with some stuff, boob armor or no? I’m kind of stuck i found a creator I like but the female torso just feel off on marine bodies and I kind of want to do more than just head swaps. It dosnt help that one’s painted, and one is probably the worst possible pose for this

I went a lil too hard on the liquid pigment cause I don’t mix it enough initially… so I have to do some touch ups but he’s basically done otherwise. The upscaling came out pretty much perfect

Somehow I didn’t manage to finish up my first upscale Corsair but god does this guy look better. That helmet is my fav but I’ve wanted to do some bare heads and they just don’t look right in most csm bodies. Surprisingly if a primaris stood up straight he’d still be taller than my new marines…

I kind of prefer painting chaos trim. I’m stuck between wanting any potential marines looking great like my chaos stuff but also not wanting to comment 3-4 hours to painting one like I do my chaos stuff. It feels easier to justify the time sync cause chaos models feel more characterful

Proof there is a god, I found primaris scaled legionarie bodies that weren’t immediately taken down by James workshop, but sadly most of the bits I have just don’t fit the primaris scale… I truly wanted to stick with official plastic for as much as I could but this could be a problem

While people are saying the new starter marines look boring as someone who ones 5 loyalist marines I’m excited. Spent some time picking a green and coming up with a recipe(probably the middle one). Other than that I spent most the day sourcing STL files since I got my printer up and running.

Bad news, good news, could be worse news. The reds weren’t even close. This was after a touch up and I can get close enough to the red I want. But now I will have to edge highlight everything by hand instead of brushing and I’m not sure I can do much more for this one, it will forever be the of one
