I mean solidus already looks almost exactly like big boss at the time of his death it's not necessarily that theyd look like the younger big boss of the 60s/70s

its funny I dont think I ever mentioned this on here but shu genuinely is my second favorite SRW character and its mostly due to dark prison LOL so this is genuinely exciting

man who loses his first love finds another in a man he was trying to kill only for the cycle to repeat in moon dwellers its a tale as old as time

she's still there and says one line ill take it............. plus she got plenty of spotlight in 2nd OG itself she can sit this one out for shu's sake

chungris @chungris.bsky.social · 09/10/2026

but also dark prison is really awesome, I think it's incredibly funny that they made such a short game so difficult also it's really good at characterizing shu he's really awesome here

The English translation patch for Super Robot Wars OG: Dark Prison is also looking real good. Mildly biased on this one as I like the La Gias cast, but this has lots of the Cool Tech stuff implemented here so fans can have a fun time with it - and this is for a PS3 game even!

A Super Robot Wars OG: Dark Prison screenshot of Shu talking about the Granzon. A link to the "Kabbalah" entry is highlighted.

Pigmon and Bemular (2019) #jandriSFWart #ultraman

Pigmon stands on a rocky forest cliff, looking started and letting slip a balloon on a string. The giant form of Bemular stomps through the background, looking down at Pigmon angrily.

do you think either snake or liquid ever looked at the TV one day and wondered why the president looks suspiciously like big boss

170

chungris @chungris.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

do you think this was a genuine question

02411

chungris @chungris.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

its still incredibly funny to me that one of the last things snake had to do in this game was shoot a rat with a rocket launcher because he cant just look down with his pistol or something

0111

chungris @chungris.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

how long do you think they trained to pull this off only for snake to do this to them

041

chungris @chungris.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

minor inconvenience for snake

062

chungris @chungris.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

but also I have no clue how close this is to completion other than "sometime soon (tm)" so I may have time to squeeze in my run before this comes out lmao the last time I played alpha 1 I was able to beat it in a little over 2 weeks while still attempting to read most of the dialogue lol

its tempting....... but also i kinda wanna see the normal scripts for both the real and super routes for myself when I play it.........

020

chungris @chungris.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

partially also because I have no idea how the cheats I used would interact with the patch but it probably wouldnt affect too much lol

chungris @chungris.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

im gonna be all over this when it drops you have NO idea

020

chungris @chungris.bsky.social · 08/10/2026

I only beat like 2 levels im really early in LOL im sorta tempted to finish this one up though so I can do another super and full real playthrough when this drops though its hard to decide....
