How do you evolve a #DesignSystems without breaking products - or losing the decisions behind it? And what changes when AI agents start using it too? Because access to a component library doesn’t mean knowing how to use it. Although, to be fair, that’s been a problem for humans for a while too… ;)

Fun fact: this conference is where I made my public speaking debut! I also have a soft spot for Katowice, having spent a few years working for agencies in the area. This time I’ll share what I’ve learned working with design systems, using Hawkins at Netflix as a case study.

One thing that seems interesting - have you got cases where you flipped the whole book idea? Currently, you publish the table of contents and deliver chapters on a set schedule. I'm wondering about situations where the whole book was restructured, or even pivoted, ending up as a different title.

That makes sense. I think it's also great from an author's perspective. Instead of writing the “opus magnum,” hoping the world will love it, you got a chance to get reactions earlier and navigate the writing process better.

I see lots of great releases coming from @manning.com recently, and I know this one by @denodell.bsky.social is going to be a banger! I really need to give MEAP a try. I’ve already pre-ordered a few books, but I keep waiting for the paperbacks. Somehow, they still give me the most joy when reading.
