Introducing: ACCURSED MOON SOUL 🏴‍☠️😈🗡️ An ex-pirate with a hellish past searches for a cure to a strange mark left by the crew she betrayed. But her past has a way of catching up and consuming her mind and soul, no matter how far she runs. ⛵ #BluePit #BluePit 📖 #Q #A #F #D #OV #LGBT

The text reads:

'Evelyn Farrow is an infamous ex-pirate whose past is a dark and hellish secret. When she wanted no part in her captain’s dealings with a devil, a strange mark was branded onto her as punishment for her betrayal. The aftermath of that ritual led to her killing her crew in an inhumane fit of revenge. She is now the sole survivor, left to bury their legacy of conquest over the oceans.

Nine months have passed, and Evelyn has lied her way into a new crew of faithful and upbeat treasure hunters. She’s determined to leave her pirate days behind her, but the unending nightmares of that fateful massacre serve as a reminder of what she’s running from. Whilst chasing a rumour of a hidden artefact, the mark finally awakens, and an otherworldly voice makes home in her mind. An alteration in the strings of fate has bound them together, and in order for this mysterious entity to reawaken and reignite a centuries-long grudge with the gods, needs Evelyn to obtain this artefact by any means necessary.

With her lies beginning to unravel, she must find the courage to face the past in order to save herself, or risk losing the friends that would sail to the end of the world to save her. '

Graphic to display comp titles and tropes, the three include The Adventures of Amina al-Sirafi by Shannon Chakraborty, One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig, and Baldurs Gate 3 by Larian Studios.
The text reads from left to right:
Dark pasts, pirate/sailor fmc, psychological horror, found family, 'own voices' mental health rep, queer cast, alter-ego, high stakes treasure hunt, battling internal monsters, 'bantering misfits' group dynamic

On top of a dark underwater background, the text reads:

'Waves crashed against the lone pier as the sea waited to drown me.
I had no recollection of how I got there, teetering like I was on the edge of a great precipice. The dense fog and heavy stench of brine disorientated what little of myself I still had some control over. I stared out into the nothingness. The nothingness stared back.
This was how the Manta Ray and her terrible legacy would finally come to an end.
I’d had one tattooed across my back, in commemoration of the title. Its white markings were intentionally skeletal, with a wingspan that wrapped around my shoulder blades. Now, the ink prickled, wanting to remove itself as much as I was desperate for it to. The name had meant something once, before it became an ironic joke. The creature’s alternative name of devilfish was a dull ringing in my ears. Every waking moment, the reason why haunted me. I’d had enough. - Chapter 1'

Organizing my comic book collection and realizing I need a new way to store them where they are readily available to me. Current thoughts are a filing cabinet (or 2) or a magazine rack like at the doctor's office. Anyone have any thoughts?
