My SwiftUI previews for the iPhone Duo look drastically different than what is shown when I use the simulator. The vertical bar is completely missing and the app is acting like it's running on a regular iPhone. You can't run Image Playground in the simulator so it's been previews. FB24967055

Feeling really glad that I spent so much time this summer giving @pleasedontrain.com a proper iPad layout. It has proved immensely useful in adjusting for iPhone Duo. Right now I'm shifting some controls that would have been in the crease in the partially folded state.

While setting up my new iPhone last night my Apple Watch ended up rebooting. This morning Siri AI on the watch refused to set timers or alarms because it said the Clock app wasn't installed. 😵‍💫 Reboots didn't help but it started working later.

I hope that the user that gave Please Don't Rain two stars for using too much blue likes the new press kit webpage that just went live.

I worked so hard this summer improving the iPad version of @pleasedontrain.com. The app originally was iOS only and you could really tell. The same vertical layout just did not work with lots of screen real estate. Now the UI elements will intelligently arrange themselves in a new layout.

It sure would have been nice if the UI for the Apple Store app would have presented an error if you entered a Chase credit card when trying to get ready for the iPhone pre-order tomorrow with the upgrade program. Nothing happens besides the submit button becoming inactive for a few seconds.

The nightmare is over. Three years after I opened this feedback and after over ten years of waiting I will *FINALLY* have a digital watch face for my Apple Watch that I like.

Feedback I opened to Apple on June 29, 2023 that reads "I am begging you to add digital watch faces with the time in the center that allow complications." To the right is the new watch face with just that.

It seems so strange to me that for the new extra-large, portrait style widgets iOS users can put them on any home screen page that they want. But on iPadOS where I have so much more space I can *only* put them on the Today View (which I forgot existed).

It's a shame that this accessibility issue I opened for SwiftUI Grids in 2022 is still an issue. It's annoying to have to create an accessibilityRepresentation for a standard UI element.
