The real heroes of the world's most remote (AFAIK) software conference is @sixpivot.bsky.social. Without their support as an employer that truly embraces remote work, I'd never have been able to move out here and DDD Outback would never have been.

I've used Nimbus on a few projects and it's always a pleasure.

Alright, who wrote the code to sort labels in Gmail? I see you sorting numerically in the middle of your alphabeticals... tidy work sir/madam, tidy work indeed. I just noticed `_26 Foo` sorting above `_148 Foo` and was suitably impressed.

Thanks to the amazing organisers that put on DDD Perth, the sponsors that fund it, and the army of amazing volunteers that make it possible. Rizal Farok was the best hype-agent a speaker could hope for, driving people into the room with promises of a "life-changing talk"! 🙇

I spoke about MVP's. What they aren't, what they are, how to size them, how to scope them, and how to deliver them. The feedback I've received was fantastic, and I'm hoping to give this talk to many more people in the future.

🟢 To see some amazing talks (Kate Kirwin and @rendle.dev book-ended the day perfectly) 🟢 Some amazing discussions with people after the session 🟢 A beautiful tea towel 🟢 A brief catch-up with some Perth friends 🟢 Very little sleep

Wait until you try an ergo mouse and keyboard! (if you're not already) The Logitech MX Vertical is great, once you learn to stop capsizing it.

My first trip here was >20 years ago. Friends bought it. We'd go on holidays, camp, and help out. Later we'd work the bar at NYE the Pig Races. I've had birthdays there even got married there. I'm excited to share it with fellow geeks. Agenda looks great, but sponsors still needed. dddoutback.com
