I wrote an essay about my life long love affair with Rush and framed it in the context of the Fifty Something tour and the documentary Neil Peart: No One’s Disciple, which is now streaming on GEM. Enjoy. #Neilpeart #GeddyLee #AlexLifeson #rushisaband www.thegrindmag.ca/ending-my-su...

I crashed last week in a rainstorm. I thought I hadn’t hit my head, but saw afterwards that my helmet was scuffed and had indeed taken an impact. I barely felt anything because the helmet did its job. Happy that Zohran is taking personal safety seriously. Also, I love NYC bike paths.

Ordered a WD Black SN7100 2TB NVME SSD for $359 CAD yesterday morning, by midnight, the price had jumped to $579. That’s insane. Fortunately, my order was processed and it‘s on the way.

The Bruce Dickinson show at History was incredible fun in the spirit of 1950s EC Comics. The singer/pilot/Iron Maiden-frontman delivered 1h45 minutes of anthemic horror-themed metal with rousing choruses, blistering performances by his young band, and plenty of audience sing-alongs. Epic!

This is precisely the point. The more options people have, the fewer cars on the road, which leaves space for those who actually need them. Motorists have yet to figure out that cycling advocates are their friends.

The Stonewall Inn released a response to the National Parks Service removing the word transgender from the park outside of the Inn. A great reminder that we have to look after each other

The Stonewall Inn and The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative are outraged and appalled by the recent removal of the word 'transgender' from the Stonewall National Monument page on the National Park Service website. This blatant act of erasure not only distorts the truth of our history, but it also dishonors the immense contributions of transgender individuals - especially transgender women of color - who were at the forefront of the Stonewall Riots and the broader fight for LGBTQ+ rights.
