not a 100% complete list, but at least 2025 has yielded creative output 😎

Happy Easter! Christ is risen, and has conquered death so that we might have eternal life. What a blessing it is to be alive, even when it's hard.

Christopher Tom @christophertom.com · 01/04/2025

i've already got most of 2 days vlogged at least. it's gonna be pretty lo-fi, i'm not sure if it'll go on my main channel either or when it'll even come out since my album (Fantasia) is only something like 55% done. i'll stop trying to edit it for now and focus on filming for the sake of my eyes

Christopher Tom @christophertom.com · 01/04/2025

my plan is to try to vlog at least a week of making my album, then maybe 1-2 weeks later, follow up on the stuff i brought up in the vlog previously. my eye problems make things harder though. if my eyes still have too much trouble handling it, i guess i'll have to abruptly stop.

i wonder how many times the SpongeBob jellyfish dance party song was actually played at a party or dance 🤔

i appreciate the offer man! i'll keep it in mind

Christopher Tom @christophertom.com · 22/02/2025

that estimate is purely about the music by the way. it doesn’t take into account promo stuff, album + single art, etc.

Christopher Tom @christophertom.com · 22/02/2025

i think my upcoming album is somewhere around 60% done. the songwriting is almost complete, so a lot of the work left is in recording, editing, and hiring session musicians. definitely no final tracklist yet!

i was wondering when it makes sense to make a creative project that has a net negative effect on my happiness, here's what i came up with: 1. if doing nothing is worse 2. if the project benefits others 3. if i can figure out how to start enjoying it more 4. if finishing it brings enough happiness

i've been keeping a list of things to look forward to. i divide it into stuff in the very near future, and stuff that's further out. i highly recommend, it's good for mental health

Christopher Tom @christophertom.com · 08/01/2025

i looked this up partially expecting to have fallen for a Wata Joke but then i found out it's actually real

i like to imagine you just have Wata.exe running on your computer pumping these posts out

i was thinking about what my favorite albums of the 2010s are, so i went through my ratings and WOW there are so many albums i really like. i was not expecting this many

i'm glad someone can relate! it really does make it harder to connect with other people who make stuff, especially with music

Christopher Tom @christophertom.com · 03/01/2025

i wanna get better at giving feedback to art. a lot of feedback i see people give others is emphatic, but i can't do that a lot of the time. i can recognize positive qualities, but i often don't have strong opinions. i always aim to be 100% real, but i don't want my feedback to feel too lukewarm

030

i think you need to start second guessing the senseis

i've definitely felt a loss of color in my life this year. i don't think i have depression. i have hope that unless something catastrophic happens in 2025, that things can be better, and perhaps this can be solved through strategy and willpower, God willing
