I’m still amazed and fascinated that I can watch and listen to a live broadcast from almost the far side of the moon. It’s been great just watching the moon’s surface slowly unfold as the ship travels around it. @nasa @nasaartemis

Low by David Bowie. This month marks 49 years since its release in January 1977. Landmark and influential then and as well as now, it’s been a constant listen for me for many a year, but the past few weeks it’s been a go to listen as I’ve dug deep into all of the amazing tracks.

There was a nice low early January winter sun following me around on my birthday walk today. Hopefully a good sign for the year ahead.

The National Theatre production of Public Record at the Firestation was amazing last night. Anyone going either today or tomorrow will have a fantastic time. (Dancing Queen single is there as it was the karaoke tune that the whole cast came back on to at the end!) @nationaltheatre.org.uk

Great night at @theglasshouseicm watching Joan As Policewoman with Lily. Lily got to meet Joan again, as she had back in 2019, and proudly told her that she’s playing on the same stage in a few weeks time. @joanaspolicewoman.bsky.social

Possibly one of the greatest recordings ever. Everything is perfect, Jim Webb’s songwriting, arrangement, musicians, Carol Kaye’s bass intro, Glen Campbell’s baritone guitar solo and of course his fantastic voice and delivery. #jimmywebb #glencampbell #wichitalineman

All set for a promising future. But not long after I learnt that you can’t always predict the future and you’ve got to learn to roll with the curve balls that come your way.

Watching Top Of The Pops 1975 (not a classic year!) and while watching and playing along to Jive Talkin’ by the Bee Gees I had a sudden memory flashback to the fact that I’ve played this with an occasional band I was part of 20 years ago!! Forgot that completely, too many birthdays 🤣
