Well said. I have never, and will never, use AI. In 2024 I started putting this notice in my novels. Since authors who continue to employ em-dash—which I do—will evermore be summarily declared guilty, I figure I might as well pre-declare my innocence.

Indicia in the front matter of a book which reads, “No A.I. was used in the creation of this novel. It is, in its entirety, the product of a human being.”
