Hi Nancy! I love that this edition includes her illustrations and sketches from that insane year in the Arctic. We read this with "Two Old Women" (1993) by Velma Wallis, for my neighborhood book club earlier this year. Have you read that too? Women alone against nature too; more young adult vibe.
