I need my old music twitter mutuals to migrate over to Threads. That’s where the parties at 🙂‍↕️

Pause. So I’m playing Jedi Survivor… And are you really telling me people complained about Osha’s light saber crystal turning/bleeding red calling it unrealistic…. When I just watched the exact same thing happen to Dagan Gera’s lightsaber? And there’s been no complaints? I’m about to throw something

I know it’s growth but I’m having one of those expriences where my life is all around uncomfortable right now. I’m pursuing something I’m very excited about but also in reality very terrified of. But if I don’t pursue it then my life stays the same, and my current life is extremely unpleasant 🙃

Can someone who know about emulators help me? I downloaded OpenEmu and when I try and upload my game file it says “No valid system detected”. It’s a pbp file and I’m using a Mac

Hitman Freelancer hack: if you’re about to fail your mission just pause and restart your Play Station. Once you reload the game, you’re back at the Safehouse before the start of whatever location/mission you chose

I hadn’t smoked weed in a couple of months since I started my adhd meds but since I skipped a few days this week I decided to smoke just a little to see how I’d feel…… that shit made me feel so sick. It’s wild how different it is after you’ve stepped away for a while

This one video I just saw on instagram was so spot on about classical music. I genuinely feel like the way I was trained caused me to suffer with my creativity down the line. All that “you must play these notes in this exact and precise way” became very draining. That’s why I couldn’t stand Bach lol

I hate job search content, especially wfh content on tiktok. These people telling you to click the link in their bio if you need help are getting paid for that shit….. and it likely won’t help you at all

And I hate how people act like you’re not informed enough when it comes to film just because you believed Sinners deserved to sweep. If it was a popular ass white film you wouldn’t be looking down your nose down at people

Michaela Stirling get behind me. I normally hate the “we don’t talk about ___ enough” phrase, but honestly… We don’t talk about how lesbiphobia effects queer media enough. I guarantee you if Benedict’s love interest had been gender swapped, it would’ve been more accepted #Bridgerton

So I’m just gonna be honest….. I never watch all of The Good Place, only the first few episodes. And I enjoyed it! But I absolutely had the thought “I bet they’re in the bad place” while I was watching the first episode…. So I’m tryna figure out how that ended up as such a huge plot twist lol

Heated Rivalry is the perfect example of using sex scenes the right way to aid story telling. I’m only on episode 2, but they’ve all been necessary especially for Hollander’s character development.

Rob Reiner either made your favorite movie, or made somebody you know’s favorite movie. If you’re a Californian, he’s also part of the reason you or your friends can get married. He has changed more lives for the better than this asshole commenting on him ever did.

I love horror but honestly a lot of my favorite pieces of horror media are tv shows and video games. I can only count on 1 hand horror movies I love, but I can give you a long list of tv shows and games lol

Can someone help jog my memory? A few years ago there was some big celebrity event that got a lot of controversy because the amount of homeless people camped right outside. I don’t think it was the MetGala…. I distinctly remember it being in LA. The Grammys maybe?

I don’t get why when someone says they’re getting a root canal, here comes 15 people talking about how painful it is. I’ve had a few of them done and they numb you during it just like any other procedure. After it’s over take a few ibuprofen while it heals. No big deal.

Should I watch The Watermelon Woman? I got so excited when I first read the plot was about Black lesbians but then I saw her love interest was a white woman and immediately got turned off. But everyone talks about how great of a film it is

These blood pressure machines at these doctors offices are never correct and I get so annoyed about it. I went today and at first my reading was 152/97 - my pcp was about to assign me blood pressure medicine until I asked her to do it manually and it read 125/90.

I think my game plan is to get a degree in Production design just so I can learn more about the art department in filmmaking but just work on my own art and sculptures on the side. Like I would love to get a model making or props degree but they don’t have that in the U.S. 😒

Is it a plot hole? Or a mistake made by a character in the film because they’re human and flawed. And their flaws are what leads to progression in the story? 🙃

The endings of most horror films are so dramatic to the point where it’s not even scary and I need them to stop doing that

000

Christian Hillis @christianhillis.bsky.social · 13/09/2025

The second Nun movie was definitely better than the first - I just feel like it wasn’t scary to me personally because they put all of the jump scares in the trailers and tv spots. Like if you hadn’t seen the trailers then It would probably be scary.
