I just had the weirdest “spiritual” experience - i just watched the final minutes of #TheDarkWizard on HBO and while a bird symbolyzing Dean Potter appeared on screen a small bird had lost its way and flew through my living room… coincedence?

I’ve restarted my Bildungsroman reading pact with @christian-berg.bsky.social —the one we swore to keep alive and then let slip. Today I sat with Che Guevara’s The Motorcycle Diaries, and the resonance was almost unbearable. Maybe let’s begin with the motorcycle itself…
A small wooden café table with a brown ceramic mug of black coffee, a maroon Jabra earbuds case, and a copy of The Motorcycle Diaries: Notes on a Latin American Journey by Ernesto Che Guevara. The book’s cover is green with silhouettes of two yellow figures resting beside a motorcycle beneath a tree, framed by a vertical row of red stars. The scene feels calm and contemplative, suggesting a quiet reading moment.

a brown and tan dachshund puppy lays on their back on a tile floor. the puppy is so small that he's the same length as one tile. his ears are splayed out on either side, his paws tucked in to his chest, and his eyes wide with terror. please show him mercy, we're begging you!

Blue Dragon has rescued 9 Vietnamese teens from slavery in Myanmar. The 4 girls and 5 boys, now aged 17 to 19, were trafficked a year ago & sold into a forced online scamming compound. All are now safe & have given statements to police. Blue Dragon will continue to support them as they return home.
A line of 9 teens walk to the Vietnamese border. They are seen from behind to protect their identities.
