Simply put, Trump & his admin want to make it harder for eligible individuals to enroll/renew, all to save $160B. Don’t fall for this number – it would take health care away from adults & kids who qualify but are unable to navigate the red tape involved in the bureaucracy. 9/13

Medicaid block grants would cap the amount of federal funding to states irrespective of the needs of the enrollees in the state, resulting in fewer people covered. This would have been a disaster in the pandemic, and will put real lives at risk in the future. 7/13

These programs cover the infant I saw 3 weeks ago with RSV and hypoxia who had to be transferred to the regional children’s hospital for care. And the young man with 2 low-paying jobs who had appendicitis and was able to go home the same day after an appendectomy. 4/13
