Superb Swervedriver show on Saturday night at Music Hall of Williamsburg, they played their debut album in full to celebrate its 35th anniversary, and a host of other classics. Always love seeing bands from Oxford and it had been 11 years since I last had the pleasure of seeing them!

Glad I got to do three of the four Rush shows at MSG, Thursday night was the emotional can't believe they're playing again show, Saturday was the party show and tonight I had a very nice centre seat ticket in the 100 section and got to my calmly appreciate everything, they're performing so well!

Forgot to mention seeing Spoon and Ratboys at central park on Wednesday. I love Ratboys but their set was difficult since everyone in the crowd was talking and not actually listening to the band, which can happen a lot at these free shows. Spoon were pretty good

You don't need me to tell you that Copper Blue is one of the great albums of the 90s, but I didn't think I'd see Sugar play live, they played a good mix of their brief discography, including a couple of tracks from their Beaster EP, and the somewhat underrated File Under Easy Listening album.
