These are growing in my south Pennsylvania lawn. Any idea what they are?

A 4 inch orange tentacle-looking thing, and a smaller one with the tip removed and it's hollow.

Cats got spayed 4 days ago and have to wear e-collars Tonight Grace (the tabby) trained me to scratch her ears when she puts both paws in my face. It's confusing though, because she puts 1 paw on my mouth when I'm too loud. Now that I've typed this I see the difference clever girl

The collar prevents the cat from licking the incision after spaying. It also makes it impossible for them to scratch their ears or face, or clean most of their head or torso.
I scratch their head and neck for them several times a day and anytime I see them trying to do it themselves.
Grace, the tabby, follows me everywhere and sits on my lap whenever possible. Tonight, Grace started putting both her paws in front of my face when I stopped scratching, and put them down when I scratched. Training succeeded
If I talk, sing or laugh loudly Grace rubs her nose against mine, and if that doesn't work, she will put a paw to my lips.
Grace is smarter than me.

My wife says the wildfire smoke smells bad but I got nothing. I don't smell landfills, at least the 2 we occasionally drive past. Fortunately I can still smell Sulphur and mercaptan.

The clearest part of the sky near York Pennsylvania has a few small clouds against a light blue sky, surrounded by gray haze. There is part of a finger blocking the lower left corner.

Back from the emergency vet after the S hook for Peep's rabies tag punctured Jameson's eye lid. They were playing and Jameson started yipping, we tried to separate them until we saw the hook. I had to get a tool from our neighbor to cut the hook before we went to the vet. Jameson's eye will be okay

Peep is visiting us from York county SPCA to see if she will get along with Jameson and the kittens. Peep is afraid of the kittens but otherwise she is settling in. ycspca.org

Blocked by the person who thinks "The country has to have ICE"

"The country has to have ICE, in some form, to enforce immigration laws." There is more, but that is the part I disagree with. Immigration law began in the constitution, but ICE wasn't created until after 9/11. Immigration law was enforced long before 9/11.

Oct 27, stepdaughter found 2 "stray" kittens and gave them to us. I like cats and I had 1 when I met wife. Wife has not had cats. 1 has FeLV and we are keeping them separated until the other's vax is done. The dogs are confused, but are getting along with new siblings.

This is my last picture of Bella. She's been unable to walk without help for a few days and she would get out of breath after and sleep. She stopped eating and could barely drink for the last 2 days. Today she was diagnosed with tumors on her lungs and we said goodbye. Love you pup. #DogsOfBluesky

My clothes dryer has been collecting dimes and pennies. I don't know if that caused one of the drum rollers to seize. When I found it, the roller was turning but making a loud thump. I was able to replace the roller and it's thump-free now, for a few hours work and less than $25 in parts.

4 pennies and three dimes I found inside my clothes dryer. 1 dime is bent and the other 2 dimes have a flat edge. Next to the coins is the drum roller with a flat edge.

Scratch that, got a text from the dog sitter that Lucky went down and couldn't get up. Emergency vet diagnosed him with vestibular disease. Might be inner ear or brain. Vet said he may adjust to it and be able to walk in a day or two. It's been a rough week for Lucky and Bella.

Vet sent recommendation for anti-knuckling shoes and they'll arrive today with a butt harness so we can help Bella walk. In the meantime she's wearing her walking harness. The new seizure med doesn't make Bella as sleepy but she had a seizure last night. #DogsOfBluesky #Dogs

It's rare to see these 2 lying next to each other. They don't fight but they don't interact much unless 1 finds something interesting to sniff. The only time Bella let Lucky lie next to her, & the only time he tried was when he 1st went blind. Both are 14 yrs old. #DogsOfBluesky #Dogs
