Top heckle last night in East Hull. Hull has an intense Rugby rivalry tween Hull west and Rovers east An act decided to tell a joke at Rovers expense. Now this was not wise and Rovers have been winning a lot "There were two Hull fans walking away from a match" And some wag shouted Was it half time?

The Barron Knights Songs from their Show 1972 It's only bloody signed!!! Wooo! There are not many groups to have toured with the Beatles and the Rolling Stones. Active from 1959 to 2022 they cheered up many a Sunday drive with their masterful parodies. They started my love of comedy songs.

Victor Borge Comedy in Music Released 1972 New York 1953 The Clown Prince of Denmark started a run of 849 shows. Spectacular skill on the piano with genuinely hilarious comedy. A rare skill indeed. His deadpan matter of fact delivery is still warm and friendly. This is as good as the genre gets.

The Goon Show 1951-1960 238 episodes delivered baffoonary of the highest order. Peter Sellers Harry Secombe Spike Milligan also Michael Bentine combine to delight vast radio audiences. Devised by Spike written by him and many others, Larry Stephens Eric Sykes I'll mention. I still enjoy them today.

Mike Harding One Man Show 1976 The Rochdale Cowboy and his proper northern slant etches easily into his comedy. A mix of tall tales and fanciful stories introduce coming of age songs of the folk tradition. Arnold my Frog is a highlight.

Well I will share with you that I am working on a new song. Me and my girls' Dyslexic So when we send a text None of us knows What we're doing next Then we misspell words so that they are rude or funny compared to what they should be. It's technically challenging but it's fun

Thank you Dyslexia makes me write clean and clear. It helps when I write jokes. I just can't spell some words and cant get a spell checker to understand. The last typo is a good example the phone told me it was wrong but I couldn't resolve it. Apologies again I can see why that would appear rude.

His comedy was of a time but he was not the person you think he was. I posted about Frankie Howerd who was an actual sexual predator but of men and no issues raised. Benny Hills persona Is ironic it is similar to the womanising sexiest bob bulldog in Frasier played by Dan Butler who is gay.
