I have an MBA and an undergrad degree in Organization Leadership. The organization leadership degree was really a degree in scientific management, with a curriculum heavily influenced by the Big 3 auto companies (ie - unions are bad). I remember two things from my MBA. My finance professor […]

90 minutes at a coffee shop reading a book, 60 minutes browsing (and buying) in a fabulous used bookstore, and a 2-hour lunch with friends. I've had worse days.

Whitesnake opened, IIRC. And I needed 6 or 7 hours of work at the bookstore to net that $15.50 for the ticket.

Pancakes for dinner were a failure. The low-sodium recipe I found on a low-sodium cooking blog is a dud. No rise at all on the pancakes, and no flavor at all either. Will try again with less milk, more low-sodium baking powder, more sugar, and some cinnamon and lemon zest to offset the lack of […]

"Muse has since climbed to the number-one spot on Apple’s U.S. App Store chart for free iPhone apps." So, even if you don't have a Muse (or Meta) account, they probably have a VM with your name on it. Also, a VM for every person that can find info on? That's billions of people, so billions of VMs.

A digital ink drawing of an alien classroom. On the wall is a sign that says “Human Anatomy 101”. There is a screen with a medical diagram of a human back. The trapezius muscle is highlighted in red, with an arrow pointed to it. Four aliens students are seated. One of the aliens is Admiral Akbar from the Star Wars franchise. He is waving his hand. The Alien teacher is saying “Now, who can tell us what this muscle is called? I see Akbar has his hand raised”
