A brick structure with a series of archways, taken from underneath. Tongue and groove wood ceiling, also arches, with a few recessed lights. Out the end is visible another identical structure, with a bench sitting in the end of it.

You know how sometimes you’re shopping, and you just see something that you feel totally has your name on it? I can’t explain why, but I’m totally getting that vibe from the Eddie Bauer coffee tumbler.

Impatiens walleriana. Apparently, that is the official name. How quaint :-J I love the little white/light pink spots at the forks of the petals.

Preordered the iPhone Duo. Still not sold on folding phones, but I’ll give it a shot. Still keeping my iPhone Air and going to Number Share for the time. Since they’re sold out for a few months, at least there will be a decent resale market for a few months if I don’t like it.

A fall sunset.
A utility shed at the bottom, a barn going off the right side, a water tower behind the shed, and a row of mountains in the background. A colorful sky overtop of the mountains, with a few clouds in the sky.

While I’m already complaining, the power lines got the sunset too.

Overhead power lines are the scourge of my existence. At least the beautiful sky and two birds made it a bit more tolerable

Album artwork for Keep Pushin’ (Beast)

Push comes to shove
You think you're rough
let's see who's down to ride

Weather storms,
see me standing on the lawn
Ready for whatever comes,
built for this since I was born
To the darkness we are drawn,
separated we get torn
Late at night I'm like a wolf,
back to normal by the morn

This is how you reach the stars
No more looking at the past
Come a long way this time is ours
Brace yourself and firm your stance
You don't quit when you're this far
Show these people who you are

Cause sometimes we need the beast to come out like rah

Life is hard you done the maths
all ready for the testing
Ignore the negativity
it's never that interesting
We take planes and touch the sky
so there ain't a ceiling
Free yourself of that mentality
to know the meaning
Set your goal make a start
you won’t get there dreaming
Power through these obstacles
until you get that feeling

No lacking keep pushing
My drive my cushion
My haters we shush em
I see them, they're looking
They dream of what we get out
Don't see the work we put in
They're starving for your greatness
Don't serve them what you're cooking

No lacking keep pushing

Did my longest run yet, a half marathon distance. Wasn’t focused on time. Not thrilled with the mile time, but not mad about it. My IT band griped, as did my injured ankle when I rolled it again 6 miles in. They’ll get over it.

Not terribly pleased with my time today, I’ll probably need to take it easier before I run much more. Left IT band was bothering me, and my right leg from my hip to my foot felt really bad. Slowed up a lot on my way back to try not to make anything worse.

Presenting: the Giv’r River Runner Neck Coozie.
Picture of a very generic looking middle aged white guy wearing a flannel shirt, with sunglasses on his head, modeling a coozie that has an attached lanyard. He looks pleased that he has his hands free, but a drink close and convenient. The copse is gray. It contains a Creamy Coconut Dr. Pepper, which being a middle aged white guy…is likely one of his favorite drinks.
