Phenomenal idea! It fits so well with the spacecraft mechanic, and the abilities suit it so well!

I observed a Warhammer game yesterday! The shambling Zombie horde won by sheer numbers, the goblin archers shot:hit rate was hilariously low, the trolls got confused and overrun by some ghosts(?) and sixes were constantly rolled when not needed. Great fun!
Zombies and skeletons shambling towards far off orks... and drinks

a frog heroically grabbing a demonic thorn sword, a ten-tonne slug invading a supervolcano only to be instantly silenced and sit out the rest of the game, a sea witch plotting her vengeance only to be fireballed into dust... many many good moments! Very glad to have given it a try. (2/2)

I played my first games of SorceryTCG with a friend today - different, fun and territorial! Fun bits: a skeleton token grabbing my legendary torch and running around the entire map with it, moving my avatar for the first time only for an eldritch abomination to instantly almost one-shot it, (1/2)

Helpful tip: if you start watching the new Ted Lasso S4 and get very confused by episode two due to the sudden gory images on screen, it has started autoplaying Cape Fear without telling you, it has NOT gone a new dark direction

Ah brilliant! I've been looking forward to this release, I got hoodwinked by a copycat on the Nintendo store a while ago, so it'll be great to have the real thing!

Doran the Siege Tower was one of my first commanders, and is still my favourite to this day. My youngest daughter made a version for me and it is the version I use in games! Bonus points that Doran is so well-known they hardly need the text box!

I have just bought a Jude Bellingham edition "Ice" flavour Lucozade to support our boys in the footer, especially after all those goals. I immediately choked on the fluid, spraying it all over my Tomba-themed t-shirt. Damn you Jude Bellingham!

I've got a couple of students who are wonderfully obsessed with all things Sonic, and are both very skilled artists - here is their addition to the whiteboard from recently! #whiteboardwonders

New live action One Piece! It's incredibly entertaining. The actors do a great job, and they lean into everything very well. The silly elements are accepted, in fact embraced!

I enjoyed Pokémon Legends AZ a lot! Many old favourites in there with a few new favourites, and the photo mode is great. Snapping selfies with happy music on during big emotional moments was very fun. The battle system is a huge improvement and the gameplay loop is incredibly satisfying.

Doran the Siege Tower was the card that got me into EDH - my favourite commander to this day, even with better options for Toughness creeping in recently! My early deck was obsessed with Voltronning him to an unorthodox shield-as-sword club. Pantlaza got me aggressive, and Feather got me strategic!

When I was too young to properly grasp the game I started collecting for the cool art (7th) and was on and off until March of the Machines, when I found some fellow minds to play with! Now I play for an evening of fun every other week and have introduced it to many of my students as a hobby.

The loss of Lavitz in Legend of the Dragoon! All that friendship, trouble, levelling up, timing combos learnt! But seriously, this cutscene plays in my head regularly even now, decades later. Painful!

Due to a friend of mine naming his character Alex, we regularly sung "La la la! Alex and Milayou!" in shrill, pre-pubescent voices. Those were the days!

I always remember Dragon Warrior Monsters on the Game Boy for the line: "La la la! Terry and Milayou!" sung by an NPC in the bustling marketplace as the main character and his sister become more well known.

I spent a little quiet time this evening making a couple of Pauper decks that have been on my mind for a while: Arcbound Shikari focused on modular artifact creatures, and Torgal with the simplest strategy of humans, wolves and shapeshifters all fightin' things. Very satisfying to have finished!
Two decks of 100 cards for Magic the Gathering. One has a red and white cat robot, the other a very light green wolf.

I've got a Stardew Valley longplay on in the background this afternoon and the player just grabbed a pizza and 11pm and sprinted back to their farm to water their forgotten crops, pizza grease on their fingers and pockets full of rocks and flowers. They've matched my playstyle perfectly.

Shadow of the Colossus is being awed by the natural majesty of the Golden Fish in the Moomins, but lacking Snufkin's wisdom about how best to preserve the beauty of nature.

I saw Flow today! It was a wonderful and moving film, the amount of character, emotion and humour the animals have was fantastic, and the two big moments - you'll know when you see them - were beautiful. The sound was phenomenal, the music powerful, and the animals each charming and believable.

I'm replaying New Pokémon Snap! It is a fantastic game; the N64 predecessor was excellent, and I could play this forever. One moment that genuinely chilled me - the FRILLISH! They are usually ghoulishly devoid of emotion, but the second they catch a fish and drag it down to the depths? Ecstatic!

I started playing Pokémon Snap again today - still amazing, I could playbit forever - and was reminded when I trended online for a bit with my very basic close shot of Wingull! I'll have to upload some of my favourites, this game was excellent for hilariously unexpected snapshots.

Does this mean a backer with a Steam Key reward can now ask for a Switch key in its place? Or do they have to be purchased as an add-on?

The Eternal Life of Goldman looks like a brilliant challenge (and an absolute darling of a game, every screen is its own artistic snapshot) and Vampire Survivors gets better and better! There were many more excellent games, but these spoke to me. Wonderful showcase overall, great music too!
